Welcome to Delighted To Share (D2S), a dedicated resource initiative guided by the decades-long legacy of missionary statesman Gerhard Nehls.
We exist for a single, profound reason: to equip, encourage, and mobilize the global Body of Christ to share the Good News with our Muslim friends and neighbors—doing so with deep understanding, unwavering respect, and, above all, sincere love.
Our Scriptural Mandate
Our heartbeat and operational philosophy are captured entirely in 1 Thessalonians 2:8:
"Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well."
For us, successful sharing isn’t just about proclaiming a message; it is about extending our very lives in compassionate relationship, fueled by God’s love.
The Problem We Address
We recognize a widespread challenge: many Christians carry a deep heart-burden to share Christ with Muslims but feel completely unequipped or fear confrontation. Existing approaches often rely on impersonal campaigns or complex theological arguments that create barriers rather than bridges.
Our source documents identify a fundamental communication gap. It's not enough to speak the Truth; we must speak it in a way that is comprehensible within the mindset of the listener. When we fail to do this, we are merely "witnessing" at people, not to them.
The D2S "Middle-Way" Strategy
D2S offers a distinct strategy designed for ordinary believers—not just specialists. We call it the "Middle-Way" of communication, balancing two essential pillars:
1. Total Reliance on Spiritual Fruit
We believe that without genuine, manifest love (which leads to peace, patience, kindness, and gentleness), we cannot communicate the "peace with God" we possess. Love is not a prerequisite to sharing; it is the vehicle of the message itself.
2. A Dedicated Methodology: Strategic Simplicity
To bridge the communication gap, we translate decades of specialized knowledge into accessible, "strategic simplicity":
- Understanding the Mindset: We move from preaching against a religion to understanding the mindset and "essential thinking" of our listener. This means communicating the deeper meaning of spiritual concepts, not just repeating unfamiliar religious vocabulary.
- Gradual "Thinning" of Content: Recognizing that long, dense texts create disinterest, our content strategy focuses on relatively brief, highly informative "hooks"—articles and videos designed to spark initial interest and open doors for friendly conversation.
Our Goal: Multiplying Witnesses
Our objective is to move beyond a few "experts" and multiply ordinary witnesses for Christ.

The wisdom found in D2S resources is deeply rooted in the life and works of Gerhard Nehls, whose nearly 70-year ministry, initially in the military and then globally as an evangelist and author, has always emphasized sharing Christ without compromise, yet with authentic, disarming compassion.
